3TI History

Texas Tumbling & Trampoline Institute became incorporated in September of 2001 by owners Bill and Lisa Gandy.  3TI's first home was at the Oak Park Methodist Church in Paris, Tx which graciously allowed us to set up our equipment in their gymnasium for 3 months.  We then moved to the PCA building on Clarksville Street for the next 4 years when we were able to build our 13,000 sq. ft. facility on Lamar Ave. in Paris.  We moved into our new facility in December of 2005.

We not only have an awesome recreational sports program, but we also began a Summer Youth Day Camp centered around the idea of children's fitness to keep kids active and healthier.  This led into an after-school Kid/Teen Fitness program so we could continue to offer children healthier lifestyles when they are more inclined to sit in front of a T.V.

We have also had many national and in 2007 we began with our international titles won by Sarah Gandy at 3TI.  Our trampoline and tumbling team has generated 8 National Champions.  Katie Easthouse was our first national champion on level 7 trampoline in 2003 in Sacramento, CA.  She was followed by Heath Swaim who claimed 4 national titles and Madison Martin with 2 national titles, both at the Junior Olympic Level.  Sarah Gandy became our first elite to win first at the U.S. Championships in Synchronized Trampoline with Julianne Gonet of California.  She also won her first international title at the Flemish National Championships in Belgium on Double-mini Trampoline in 2007.  She also became our first World Age Games medalist in Nov. of 2007 earning a bronze medal in Quebec City, Canada on Double-mini Trampoline.  She also won the Flanders Cup Double-mini trampoline Championship along with the Team USA 1st place finish on Team Double-mini trampoline in 2008 in Ghent, Belgium.  She has now become our first U.S National Champion at the Junior/Senior Elite level in Double-mini trampoline and our very first World Championships Bronze medalist with Team USA at the 2009 World Championships in St. Petersburgh,  Russia.

Our Goals

To teach each individual in our Gym to believe in themselves and build personal character and self esteem that will help them overcome the ups and downs through out life.
We also teach that life is full of Positives and Negatives and to win and survive we must build and learn from the Negatives to make ourselves better and make the Positives more meaningful.
Our first and most important Goal is to remember "That all things are possible for those who believe"
